Debbie Allard Debbie Allard joined the Department in October 2007. Her responsibilities include processing travel and accounts payable in addition to departmental clerical duties and support of the department faculty. |

Tina Arcomone, MPH Tina Arcomone, MPH is a Research Coordinator in the Department of
Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the College of Public Health and
Health Professions. She completed her BA in Anthropology at the
University of Florida in December 2003 and MPH in Epidemiology in May
2007. While working at the CDC Miami Quarantine Station and Miami-Dade
County Health Department as an CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow, she
worked on numerous outbreak investigations as well as the development of
standard operating procedures to assist quarantine stations in the
prevention of importation of infectious diseases into the United States.
Currently, she is a Research Coordinator for Dr. Robert Cook in the
Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. She oversees an NIH-funded
study, "Home Screening for Bacterial Vaginosis to Prevent STDs". She is
also assisting with research on HPV infection in Florida's Medicaid
population. |

We are happy to welcome Kathy. She is our student clerk and the newest member of the Epi/Bio team. She assists the administrative staff with the daily operations of the department. |

Michele Romano Michele "Shell" Romano joined the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics as Office Manager in March 2008. Shell is responsible for the overall management of departmental administration with the Chair, and interface between the Department and College: Her responsibilities include departmental budgets and business plans; Human Resources, fee waivers, payroll and leave, department administrative reporting, contracts and grants, and administration of Ph.D. student programs. |
