Welcome to the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics
| These are exciting times at the University of Florida for our two disciplines. The growth of our programs in these two key components of public health led to the establishment of our Department in July 2006. Some of the many accomplishments of our faculty and students are described in our funding and student pages, and we invite you to read further about our activities in both Division sites. We currently have 48 MPH students enrolled in our two Department concentrations. In fall of 2008, we will admit our first groups of students to our two newest degree programs: a PhD in epidemiology, and a PhD in biostatistics. In the coming year, we anticipate the addition of an MS in Biostatistics. These graduate programs and our research are enhanced by our collaborations throughout the University of Florida Health Sciences, and with local, state, and national public health and research agencies. Please visit our web page frequently to see how we are growing. |
